“Picture
Day”: Everyone is encouraged to
participate in group photos to help us add to our display each year.
You are not obligated to purchase any photos. Students should arrive
5 minutes prior to their scheduled time full costume and make up.
All alterations, accessories, painted shoes etc. should be completed
by this time. Specific costume instructions will be included it our
May newsletter. If students have more than one costume please arrive
in your first costume and bring the others on hangers. Scheduled
times for these photo shoots and order forms will be enclosed with
the May news letter. Please have order forms filled out in advance.
“Ticket
Day”: Doors will open at
10:00am
and close at
2:00pm
. Tickets are sold at “Gotta Dance”. There is a 15 ticket
maximum per enrolled student at this time and seats will be selected
on a first come first serve basis. If you may need more than 15
tickets your name will be placed on a waiting list in order of your
arrival. Once everyone has received their tickets you will be
contacted of any remaining tickets. Tickets may not be
purchased for other parties. Tickets
are $13.00 a piece. Sorry, no credit cards. At this time we will
also be taking T-shirt orders for our annual performance (this
includes each students name printed on the back). Also, orders for
program ads to send a message to your dancer or to advertise a
business. Summer and Fall registration will also be accepted at this
time.
In-house
Rehearsals: In-house rehearsals will take
place at “Gotta Dance” on June 17, and 18. All children under
age 7 will be in Act I and some older classes will be in Act I as
well. (no costumes on this day).
Dress
Rehearsal: Dress rehearsal will take place
at Lowell Memorial High School Auditorium on
Friday June 20, 2008
at
4:45pm
. All students must wear entire costume and stage makeup. All
alterations should be completed. Students should appear on stage
exactly how they will appear for the performance. Dressing room
volunteers are needed. Anyone volunteering must be available during
dress rehearsal and the performance and will receive a free ticket.
Please let me know if you are interested. (All volunteers will be
able to watch their child’s dance number during the performance.)
Costumes will be distributed throughout the month of April
and May. Several costume balances have not been received. Please
make sure all balances are paid in full. Students will not
receive their costumes until balances are paid. Costumes should be
taken home and hung in a safe place. These costumes are
irreplaceable and should not be worn or played with until
after the performance. Costumes run in small, medium, large... sizes
and are not made to order. Sizes were ordered that best fit the
measurements taken earlier in the season.
Therefore, everyone should expect some slight alterations,
tacking, stitching, hemming etc. Please contact me with any
questions or concerns.
Registrations for Summer Workshops and Fall classes are
now being accepted. For summer camps and classes please see me.
For fall, please fill out a new registration form either
online or at the studio, enclose $10.00 registration fee or pay
September tuition and receive free registration.
“Gotta
Dance” will be
CLOSED for April Vacation April 21-April 27.
